We provide garden care services tailored to each home and customer, with the goal of creating peaceful, relaxing outdoor spaces. The history of gardens dates back to the 16th century BCE. In Europe, villa gardens of ancient Rome later evolved into the Italian Renaissance style, followed by the geometric French formal gardens of the 17th century exemplified by the Palace of Versailles, and the naturalistic English landscape gardens of the 18th century. In Japan, garden design began in the Asuka period in the 6th century, inspired by Chinese styles featuring ponds and islands, and later developed into karesansui (Zen gardens) in the Kamakura period. Japanese gardens generally fall into three main styles: pond and stream gardens, dry landscape gardens, and tea gardens (roji). Because “gardens” encompass so many forms and traditions, we strive every day to understand each style—and to combine them when appropriate—so we can create the ideal garden that best suits each customer.
